November 5th, 2008 - Independent hip-hop stalwart Murs is currently on the road with Kidz in the Hall for a 36-city tour to support their latest albums Murs for President and The In Crowd. In support of the tour, Zune is producing exclusive tour diary video podcasts that will chronicle the artists’ current journey across the U.S. The initial episodes will be available on Zune Marketplace beginning November 5, and new episodes will roll out weekly through December 18. Fans can subscribe to automatic weekly downloads and then sync the episodes to their Zune device to enjoy them on the go.

BUCKSHOT RELEASED FROM THE HOSPITAL
Walks Out Of The Front Door Doing The Macarena!:
October 2nd, 2008 - After spending 8 days hospitalized in intensive care, the legendary MC, Buckshot, has been released from the hospital, and is now resting at his home in Brooklyn, NY. Upon returning from a 3 week European Tour last week, the Black Moon & Boot Camp Clik frontman suffered a series of seizures. While it's still unclear what caused the seizures, Doctors believe that Buckshot was physically drained and became severely dehydrated to the extent that caused his body to shut down and suffer 9 seizures in less than 1 day. Buckshot was in good spirits today as he left the hospital, and is looking forward to his next endeavors as he prepares to finish his group project with KRS-ONE, begin work on his 3rd album with super-producer 9th Wonder, as well as a 4th studio album from BLACK MOON (DJ EVIL DEE & 5FT).

In a statement this morning, Buckshot said "I want to thank all the fans who called and wrote emails extending their well wishes and prayers. All the support helped me recover that much quicker." In true Buckshot fashion, he left the hospital dancing. With his health returning and with the release of Heltah Skeltah's "D.I.R.T." album and DJ Revolution's "KING OF THE DECKS" album; both in stores this week on Duck Down Records he's got good reason to celebrate.

August 21st - In another effort to offer Hip-Hop fans an eclectic roster to choose from, Duck Down Records is proud to announce a new solo album deal with Cypress Hill frontman B-Real. With the acquisition B-Real becomes the latest big name to join the Duck Down family. Pioneer KRS-One recently completed a collaboration album with Buckshot scheduled for release next year. For the rest of 2008, Duck Down will release DJ Revolution’s King of the Decks (Sept. 16th) and Heltah Skeltah’s D.I.R.T. (Da Incredible Rap Team), the group’s first album in 10 years. Duck Down co-owner Dru Ha emphasized that the label’s vision is to maintain a strong, independent entity to showcase Hip-Hop music thriving away from the mainstream. “Adding another living legend in B-Real to our roster is really giving Duck Down a ‘dream team’ lineup for independent Hip-Hop,” Dru explained.. “Buckshot and I have been strategic with our label partnerships mixing the right blend of emerging artists with proven veterans.”

August 11th, 2008 - What has become one of the largest Madden publicity events of the year, got even larger as EA Sports celebrated the 20th anniversary of their most popular game, MADDEN, at the historic ROSE BOWL, in Pasadena, CA. The event, coined Madden Palooza, gives EA a chance to invite some of the premier athletes, musicians, and entertainment personalities in the world, into one space to preview the new game. Kidz In The Hall were on hand to discuss what it means to them to be one of only 20 artists to have a song featured in the game. Double O said "it's surreal to grow up playing the game my entire life and to now actually have a song we produced end up in the soundtrack." Madden 09 is in stores....

August 10th - DJ Revolution is always looking for a creative edge. She was said to be working out to "Basic Training" Boot Camp Clik's greatest Hits and 9th Wonder & Buckshot's Formula album, on her recent European tour. Talks included the possibility for Mary to work on on a hook for the song "THE WAY I LIVE", produced by Black Milk, which will be featured on Buck's highly-anticipated album project with KRS-One.
